This is the first security system I've owned and it didn't live up to my expectations. The software is TERRIBLE, the mobile app is actually ok. The advertised resolution does not fit? I've had this system for about two months now and initially had problems with the software. Having done that, I've been using this pack for a while and it's really hard for me to determine where they got their 4K, 8.3 megapixel claims from. I have taken several snapshots of recorded images and the best resolution I can recover from an image is 2M. Oh, and you can't take a photo from the software, you can do it with the mobile app. After using this system for a few months, I came to the conclusion that hardware is a commodity, but software is the key to a great system, not an average system, and this system is average. I would give tech support zero stars if it was possible. Your many web tips are terrible and a huge waste of cloud space. If you want the system to be able to track general movement around your home, this pack is for you. If you want to do something useful with the recorded information, not so much. If someone can show me how to get 8 million instead of 2 million with this system, this system will be a hit.
