I had high hopes for this star and it was not disappointed. At first you may think this is too small, but the scale is ideal for a 7ft tree or less. I would even put it on a small 4 foot tree. This is the perfect medium size. The star itself is beautiful. It has enough lights to illuminate an entire star. In the interests of full disclosure; I couldn't get the coiled wire rod to hold the star securely on the straight top branch of the tree, so I found my husband's wire cutters and just cut it right off the star. I then used a long secure coated tie around the 2 star legs and then around the top branch of the tree. This held the sprocket much more securely than the original bar. I'm glad I got this little guy for Christmas this year.
