Works for what I need it for!

I needed a plate to reduce the height of my monitor arm for a drawing tablet and this thing works great. My only complaint is that due to the way I mount it, it scratches the edge of my desk so I have to find something to hide it. Other than that, I'm happy with the rigidity and finish of this mounting extension! I highly recommend it if you need to push things a little further than your current hardware will allow.
