First used on our 6 foot round bales a month ago. It took some skill to get on the ball. I was expecting something like a large flat net that wraps easily around the bale. It wasn't like that. It looks like a long pipe, and a 6-foot bale is the absolute max. We put the bale flat side up and leave the net on. I then draped the netting over it and slowly working together as my husband gathered the netting, I pushed the netting down. I don't know if that's right or wrong, but that's the only way our round bales fit. Finally on a bale one day, it's fantastic! No wasted hay. Our horses gnawed a hole in him on the first lap. But this is the second pad and they seem to have figured out how to eat it.
