My friend accidentally broke the old one he had while being an idiot showing off his Football League championship belt. I've never installed a ceiling fan before, but it was very easy. Follow the instructions and you will be fine. If you have a small room this is perfect. The 3 blades are easier on the eyes than conventional 5-blade models. He has low ceilings in his house and it fits perfectly. Its overall height is much smaller than the old one, hopefully we won't have any more wrestling belt accidents. lol. I was a bit worried about the tone of the light and how bright it would be. But it was better than I thought. I wish it was a warm incandescent light rather than a crisp white LED. All in all, this was a great purchase. Simple, stylish and durable! 😉
