I wouldn't use it as a regular sandwich maker. This is not the work of Nostalgia TCS2 grilled cheese sandwich maker. He makes grilled cheese, not a regular sandwich. And by fried, I mean that one side of the bread is still pale and the other side looks like it just survived a house fire. (That may be an exaggeration.) It takes time to get comfortable and the cheese doesn't turn into gooey glue. No no no. The cheese will be a little sticky, but you can still see its square shape and you can easily separate it from the bread without sticking. And with its cheap looks, it will most likely stay in your pantry, out of sight and out of your sandwiches.
