My love for DSLRs started in the 80's with the Olympus OM 10. Since then I have used several cameras, most recently a Lumix with many automatic functions. This is a great little camera. However, with a trip to China coming up I wanted to up my game and researched and bought this Pentax. I have to admit it was a little intimidating at first, but once I started reading the book and seeing its attributes, it brought me back to my first love. Understand and use the manual functions of an SLR camera. This is a great camera... and I was very excited to find out that it has digital filters. This might not be new to all advanced DSLR users, but for me it's a great feature, along with everything else on this camera. I love it! and can't wait to see what I can do with it on my travels.
