I'm so glad I spent a little more $$ and bought this lamp! I bought the gold one and it is beautiful and works so well! I was a bit unsure about finding the power/adjustment button since I was replacing a full touch lamp. There was no problem finding a button to change the brightness or turn the lamp on or off. I wish it was a little closer to the edge of base, but I can live with the way it is, I just have to get used to it. It responds instantly when your finger enters the button cavity, it's not actually a button to press, just a cavity to be touched. The amount of light this lamp emits is amazing! At maximum setting it feels like I'm out in daylight and not in bed lol. I'll probably only need two settings, the highest being so bright I probably won't need it that often. I've attached a video showing how much light I get from this lamp, starting with a dark room and light on each setting. It really gives off a lot of light. Again, I'm so glad I spent a little more dollars and bought this lamp. It looks great and works great!
