I needed a bright light over my kitchen table. That's exactly what I need. It has a stem that can be extended to be closer to the ceiling or lowered to its maximum length. It was installed by an electrician but if I had the time and tools I could do it myself. It has three lightbulbs. I ended up using dimmable programmable smart bulbs - they work great. White linen fabric lampshade with glass diffuser so the bulbs are not visible from below. When it's time to change the lightbulbs, I can reach up to change them. It's a clean, modern look that pairs well with mid-century or transitional styles.
