Mesh steamer baskets are very difficult to clean and most have spots where food can get stuck. The silicone baskets do not drain completely, leaving food in the water. Made of durable perforated stainless steel, this basket is perfect: lots of holes for good steam penetration and evacuation, and it's easy to clean. It also has legs, so when you put it on the counter (or on a plate, or in a bowl, or on the mat that comes with it) it's above the surface for easy and quick water drainage, and the divider is one great addition. The steamer basket that came with my Yedi pot, oddly didn't fit, and although it's perforated stainless steel, it has far fewer holes. The Tillabee Steamer Basket has become my favorite accessory. Haven't had the chance to use a divider but it's awesome and the mat and gloves are a nice and useful bonus.
