VERY DUSTY - Lab & Scientific Products

I wasn't expecting much from such cheap screens, but they are very dusty. I tried testing them first try with some rubbing alcohol and they got warm which was a very good sign they were working, but I quickly noticed that they were fogging up. I didn't really care at first, but after a few hours it got too foggy to see. The original batch of alcohol was actually ruined because I've left it without screens for over a day and it's still too cloudy to see through. I tried rinsing the batch by running water through it and gently stirring it and that seemed to get 80% rid of the dust after almost an hour of washing. I tried pouring them into a glass until it was half full, adding water and gently shaking it, and after doing this literally 10-20 times it was barely cloudy. I rolled the glass slowly and didn't ruin them, so I don't think I produced dust. The dust from these sieves is so fine that it goes through coffee filters as if they weren't there. I was amazed that after passing a liter of cloudy alcohol through a double-folded coffee filter, not even a hint of dregs remained on it. I tried plugging the funnel with cotton and letting it drain slowly, and although the falling rate was only one drop every few seconds, it was just as cloudy as before. I literally don't know of any real way to remove the dust from these screens, even after many hours of washing.
