Review on Enhance Your Ride with AIR LIFT 60779 1000 Series Rear Air Spring Kit by Todd Mohr

Easy install for aftermarket

I have a 2004 GMC Messenger. Native rear air suspension died. I replaced the air suspension with normal coil springs. The coils were fine until I banged our 20ft boat on the back of the messenger. You should be aware that we have the rear of the bike and then the hitch at the rear so the ball is moved about 12-13 inches backwards. Needless to say, the truck needs help from behind. I installed the Air Lift 1000 kit and the problem was resolved. When installing, I removed the rear tires and lower shock bolts and dropped the axle altogether. The rear springs are very tight without this step. They couldn't spread the coils far enough without dropping the axle. Once the airbags are installed, the rest of the job can be done in 15 minutes. I decided to make separate lines on the pockets. My messenger always leaned slightly to the right. I put 10 pounds on the left side and 13 pounds on the right side. The truck is adjusted about 1/2 inch and leveled again. I would buy them again. Inexpensive solution to the problem. THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED!
