    Suitable for aluminum heads, blocks, water pumps.

    Nice addition to your toolbox. When you screw steel into aluminum you start a chemical reaction (galvanic corrosion). This zinc compound has to sacrifice itself in place of aluminum, which normally oxidizes. Next time you're having trouble getting a steel bolt out of an aluminum cylinder head or manifold, think about it.

    Use it on spark plug threads and anywhere dissimilar metals are used.

    For spark plug threads and wherever dissimilar metals come into contact. The spark plugs are currently in the cylinder for a very long time, sometimes 100,000 miles, giving the galvanic action ample time to do its job. The zinc in the lubricant acts as a sacrificial anode, protecting the aluminum filaments in the head from corrosion. Cheap insurance and a container should last a very long time.

    Good for reaming aluminum on aluminum

    My aluminum frame patio doors have become almost immobile probably due to corrosion of the support rail. At first I cleaned the tracks well, but that did very little to help. After applying this compound to the track (keeping my finger safe from contact with zinc as recommended) I found the doors now move like new. This surprises me as I thought the door was held in place by worn out rollers. After two months, the doors still move slightly. The applicator brush attached to the lid is useless as
