Nice addition to your toolbox. When you screw steel into aluminum you start a chemical reaction (galvanic corrosion). This zinc compound has to sacrifice itself in place of aluminum, which normally oxidizes. Next time you're having trouble getting a steel bolt out of an aluminum cylinder head or manifold, think about it.
