Ideal for thick seals

Well made caulking gun. Saves my hands from injury from repeated trigger pulls. Effortlessly spreads thicker sealants. As a precaution, apply the sealant slowly so as not to burst the sealant hose.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Slightly dented

For the caulking gun crafter

I've had one of those plain old red guns for years - it gave my hands cramps and it was difficult to draw a straight line. OMG - I had no idea there was so much room for improvement - this guy is worth the money and I wish I had bought him sooner. So much easier to use!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Quick instructions

Where have high thrust ratio pistols been all my life?

This piece is gorgeous and made it so easy to apply the same beads to a large (for me) project (two doors, a room full of floor panels and a pair of crown molding). car doors). I've spent my whole life using those cheap $7 caulking guns from the big home stores and I've gotten used to the pain in my hands and forearms. This caulking gun required very little effort to dispense material and is now one of my "I'll never give up" tools.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Available in white only

Durable cartridge gun! Expect it to last YEARS!

I bought this caulking gun to replace my old one after it stopped advancing the rod (which compresses the caulking tube and dispenses the caulking). The last one I had was also a heavy duty metal frame caulking gun and probably lasted over 10 years. I expect this one to do the same. (Hopefully I can make it a little cleaner than the previous one!) I've used it to smudge bathroom tubs and windows before. Great seal!

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Extremely easy to use

I ordered this to do some embossing between countertops and walls in my kitchen. I'm a petite woman and don't have very strong hands, so it was very difficult for me to lower the grip of a regular caulking gun and make even beads. I absolutely hated using it. This grip was very comfortable to hold and incredibly easy to use. It is pressed very gently and almost effortlessly. I really enjoyed working with it on my project! I will be using it side by side to recaulk bathrooms.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • No performance

Great product - power and hand tools

I didn't know there was a difference in caulking guns until I had to release Loctite Power Grab Ultimate. It was necessary to install PVC tiles. The main complaint about the product was that it was impossible to remove from the tube. I had the same problem (and it was a fresh product). It would take two hands and I thought I would break the gun. Then I started looking into cartridge guns. There is a big difference in mechanical advantage between shotguns. I bought this one and the Power Grab…

Huge improvement over cheap caulking guns

I needed five replacement windows and had one of those cheap caulking guns. My hands hurt like hell trying to squeeze out the sealant. I thought of replacing it with a battery and an air gun. But wireless is too expensive, and I didn't want to bang out the supercharger every time. Then, realizing that the "stop" property of a manual caulking gun is the key to saving your hands, I use a 26:1 ratio. WOW! I had to get used to this as it really takes very little finger strength to get the putty to…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Overpriced and needs improvement

I bought this JES 26:1 because I have a Workforce 656-157 professional caulking gun and needed a little more force when applying Loctite Roof PU Sealant & Flashing or DAP Ultra Clear Sealant. This has about 10% more power, but the trigger travel is longer for the same amount of output. Also the anti-drip pressure release mechanism is too strong. If you're working with one hand, you'll find that the plunger plate has moved too far, requiring you to tighten it to re-dose. The great thing about…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
