By far the best cartridge gun I have ever used!

This tool is GREAT! Way better than the ones you can buy at your local hardware store! It's lightweight and has good leverage to easily extrude thicker caulk, but the best part is that it doesn't drip or run after you let go of the handle! You don't have to eject the sealant after each pass! With this gun, the sealing process is much quicker and easier, which means the quality of your beads will improve. And you don't have to clean up drips and dangling strands of slime that leave minor…

Thank you to the other reviewers who pushed me towards this model.

I didn't have enough arm strength (arthritis) to use our old metal caulking gun, but the Dripless ETS 2000 is so easy to use. If you have weak or arthritic hands, you'll know that this caulking gun requires so little pressure to squeeze that it even seemed like I wasn't pulling the trigger when I squeezed it. An added bonus is a built in cutter to cut off the tip of the sealant. I don't know how long it will stay sharp as I only used two tubes, but the caulking gun is worth it even without.

  • Easy to read control panel

Poor Durability: Cartridge Guns

I really liked this gun at first. The dripless feature works really well and the lever is pretty smooth. However, in less than a year with very minimal use, it barely has enough force to push the seal out, depending on how thick it is. I can use something like silicone latex with no problems. But when it comes to thicker glue like Gorilla Max glue, it barely pushes them out. It worked so badly that at first I thought the glue was bad and dry. But upon closer inspection, I realized it was a…

Good caulking gun but not perfect

This is a well made caulking gun, but it's far from perfect. The mechanism relieves pressure on the cartridge when the trigger is released, so the hose is no longer subjected to pressure and flow. But that also makes it difficult to apply enough pressure with thicker sealants - the rod simply won't move under high pressure. And thinner sealants will still drip no matter what. The hanging hook and easy loading is nice. The stem length is barely long enough for some sealers and not long enough…

Not drip free no matter the name

This gun was very difficult to operate as it continued to dispense sealant even when the trigger was not pulled. I spent as much time cleaning up afterwards as I did using it and it wasted a lot of stuff. I finally figured out that to stop dosing I have to pull the wand back. I might as well use my old shotgun as that one requires an extra step. When I finally reloaded a new tube of caulk, I found that the gun was pushing the bottom of the caulk tube at an angle so the tube released the caulk…

Excellent value for money and quality. Actually "drip free "

I would have given a lower rating at first if I hadn't read other people's suggestions and grabbed a tube of sealant to learn how to use it. I only use this for the occasional minor home repair, but still it's a lot better than my old magazine pistol. After a few failed attempts and several yards of caulk, I caught the curve and found I had finally finished the caulk without releasing the trigger prematurely and continuing to leak caulk. It's so easy to take the pressure off your trigger and…

Great for ground caulk

I'm looking for a caulking gun for ground caulk. I looked at the reviews and a bit about people using it with ground sealant so I took a chance. I've used it with both Tec AccurColor 850 Sanded Caulk and Color Caulk and it worked perfectly. I cut the tub end very small and it still had no problem. I have to say if you use sanded joint compound it drips afterwards. When I used my custom 3.99 caulking gun at my local big box store, the end popped out. get tired at all. Will it continue? I'm sure…

Absolutely not drip-free - video posted to watch

media could not be loaded. Not without drops. If a drip-free system is important to you, look elsewhere. I went back and tried the yellow CH200 gun my painters used and it really didn't drip. This ETS2000 compound gun feels good in the hand, the rotating barrel is comfortable and the sealant doesn't stick to it so it stays clean and if the sealant ever leaks out the back of the piston it flakes off immediately so that's one Plus. But most of all I appreciate the non-drip, and this gun does…

Worth the money for hand tools

Failed to load media. First let me say that I am not a professional and I do not trade. I'm a DIY guy. This caulking gun is actually pretty impressive. It's slightly larger than the standard cheap Home Depot 3.00 shotgun. It fits standard seal tubes of the same size (10.1 oz). The barrel (yellow part) continuously rotates 360 degrees. It can be handy to rotate the tube, but the seal tube I used rotated in the barrel without having to rotate the yellow one. The back of the handle, where the palm
