I didn't know there was a difference in caulking guns until I had to release Loctite Power Grab Ultimate. It was necessary to install PVC tiles. The main complaint about the product was that it was impossible to remove from the tube. I had the same problem (and it was a fresh product). It would take two hands and I thought I would break the gun. Then I started looking into cartridge guns. There is a big difference in mechanical advantage between shotguns. I bought this one and the Power Grab easily flowed out of the tube. This gun is designed for dispensing heavy material, but of course it also works great with regular sealant. Get this weapon and you don't have to worry about which product you use.
