I ordered size 3 for taller people. I really like being able to tweak this and get it working. Like many overweight people, my leg tends to be larger in the thigh area and narrower in the calf area. For example, many suspenders and sleeves that work well for people of normal height are not suitable for taller people because you cannot easily enlarge the entire suspender. As many reviews say, the straps are very long and can be tightened. I also have an issue with the middle strap covering the hole at the knee because it's so long, but I don't see that as a big issue. I can put this brace on tight and at least so far it stays up and works well without being too tight. I use it for volleyball and kickball, but haven't tried it for anything like jogging or long walks/hikes.
