Review on πŸ”Œ tomtoc Electronic Organizer Travel Universal Cable Kit Management Organizer: Accessory Storage Case for iPad Mini, Charger, Phone, USB, SD Card, and More by Dewitt Bhattacharya

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lots of space and great workmanship - just not for me.

I finished reviewing the Darius Cable Organizer and then moved the items from it to this organizer so I'm deducting a star (price/quality) and a few odd options. If you compare the rubber straps on the Tomtoc, you will notice that the loops are not aligned top to bottom. This means that something spanning two straps won't be straight, as the outer one has four sections and the inner one has three slightly larger ones. When the Fire TV remote was under the center strap, it was crooked when twisted to avoid a tack point. On the Darius (Figs. 3 and 4) you can see that the straps and mesh fit together. Maybe it's my OCD, but I still didn't like it. The Tomtoc can fit more and is made from better materials on a tag basis so price wise I would expect it to be larger but at $30 and the $9 Darius it's hard to justify the difference. The Tomtoc has an elastic strap that unfolds fully, with two large pockets opposite. The rest is a half zip side with an open area, another large inner pocket and a small zipped compartment in the outer lid that is accessible from the inside. Overall (aside from the alignment of the elastic straps), the Tomtoc is a bigger, better, and more functional organizer. So if you're worth the cost of the extra space and stuff, this is a solid choice. This would have discouraged me from using a smaller pocket to hold the cords (Figure 3) like Darius does, but my OCD says the elastic section should be straight ;-) **Disclosure: I have a product sample from the Earned the Revain Vine program. for an honest and unbiased review.
