Incredibly Awesome Screen Protector

I was hesitant to buy a screen protector for my iPad because of the mixed reviews and opinions. Many people love them and many have horror stories of worn pen tips and rainbow patterns on blurry screens. But for the price, the Elecom seemed like a good experiment - if it underperformed I'd just take it off and get on with my life. On the contrary, I like it! At first, installation was a breeze. I've worn enough screen protectors in my life that I'm scared of the whole process, blisters, adjustments and all that. Elecom turned on in seconds and the few bubbles that were there were very easy to remove. But how well does it work? Turns out it works great. While it doesn't quite feel like paper, the texture has enough tooth to make writing with the Apple Pencil feel more natural. I almost never used the handwritten notes app and used it daily. It's nice to draw. Have you ever heard the loud noise of plastic on glass? Also good. I know people disagree on how matte screen protectors affect the iPad's crystal clear sharpness, but I have to say I didn't get that sharpness at all because the screen smudged and glared so easily. I always carried a screen wipe and tried to polish it. Having a protector is a huge improvement - I can see the screen from all angles, even when sitting next to a window. I'm never blinded by a sudden reflection. Now the texture feels a bit odd on my fingers - the same thing that makes the stylus work so well, it scratches a bit when I touch or scroll the screen. - but that's a negligible price to pay for penciling and highlighting improvements. And I could really see the wear pattern on the pencil tip after a while - I got another box of four just in case, but haven't had to replace one yet. Anyway, give it a chance. To attempt!
