I've had it for about a year. I use about 2-3 times a week. After a few months of use I have noticed that the blue border is peeling off my counter even when using a heating pad. It never touches the side pillar but somehow pulls away from it. Also, there are other areas that come off and the name disappears. I'm concerned we received a fake/fake considering how much money was spent on it. The heat is fine. I like the slightly curved plates best. I'm not sure if it was worth the money. This was my first Babyliss purchase and I thought they were supposed to be a high end brand but now I have my doubts and feel the quality is a bit misleading.
