Review on MAGCOMSEN Men's Water Resistant Hooded Tactical Jacket: Soft Shell Winter Coat for Snow Skiing by Carlos Alston

Nice jacket but some really weird features

I got it a few days ago and have worn it on walks in cold temperatures. It seems quite warm and fits well enough. I've been told it's weatherproof, but haven't seen that feature yet. Now some complaints, none of them are deal breakers for me but mostly very annoying. Let's start with the front zipper, it's on the wrong side. Zipper like a women's coat. It drives me crazy every time I try to take it off or put it on. Hopefully I'll get used to it over time, but since I don't wear heavy winter coats that often anymore, I'm a bit skeptical. The hood is a bit tight and there are a few drawstrings that need to be tightened, but I haven't figured out how to zip it up yet. Now the bags. The two regular pockets aren't very deep at all, which limits stowing gloves. Also, they sit very high on the sides so you can't use them to put your hands in. There are two inner "pockets" which are not actually pockets as they are neither top nor bottom. I have no idea how to use them. There is also a large pocket on the back of the jacket. It's difficult to access while carrying it and again I'm not sure what this bag was made for. It has a small zipper on the sleeve which is good for your car keys. I'm not sure if I like it or not because it's really weird, but I'll keep wearing and testing it.

Pros
  • Shark Skin soft fabric with warm fleece inner, waterproof, windproof, breathable and heat resistant
Cons
  • Good but not great
