Review on Cerium Polishing Solution Microns: GP90001 for Superior Glass Polishing Results by David Cook

Pebble Time - works fine, but be careful.

This works very well with my Pebble Time, but one warning: it looks like it's peeling some kind of coating (oleophobic?) off the watch glass. So be careful if you want to keep this. Mine had some pretty decent scratches that made it hard to tell the time, so losing that coating was worth it for me. This coating took a little longer to polish because of the scratches from the watch that showed a small circle while polishing. This circle looked really clear and smooth, but there was an edge where this coating was peeling off, so it looked weird. Since this rim was there, I had to polish the entire surface to make the watch look normal. I've included screenshots of how the watch originally looked, then how it looked after a bit of polishing, and then how it ended up looking. It took a long time to polish the scratches but the job did the job. In general, hand polishing took an hour and a half to two hours. Maybe it would be a lot quicker if I used a Dremel. I almost never use a lot of powder, but at least I know I have a supply in case I need to polish the glass. After all, this watch looks a lot better; almost new. Update: After some use they definitely seem a lot shinier than before as there is a lot more glare on the screen making the watch a bit harder to see but in my opinion it was definitely an improvement over the previous look.
