I've had these units before and sent mine in for repair and never got it back from Sony! SMH Anyway, I've bought a few more of these cans and the Platinum is the way to go, especially if you're going to be investing in a PS5 later. They're head and shoulders above the new 3D Pulse, and the price reflects that. 3D sound is perfect. The bass is so tight and deep, the kids are a bit higher (but can be turned down in the PlayStation companion app), and the highs are nice and crisp. Once you fine-tune these villains in the app, you'll have an immersive experience with these Platinum headsets. Hopefully they'll redesign the companion app with more attention to the equalizer features. All in all, these are Sony's best headphones. Much better than Astros, Artics and Hypers. Please stay away from these hyper headsets. They are complete rubbish! Let her be at the PC. They only support the cheapest accessories because they spend most of their money upgrading their rigs. Console gamers, DO NOT listen to what PC gamers like. It's bad that you console gamers are still gamers and continue to support your favorite game developers. There's a reason these companies don't make their own studio games exclusively for PC. Because PC people mod, hack and ruin games. Also, they will pirate all games and use hyper headsets, the cheapest ones! Platinum is the place to go if you expect outstanding quality and great sound from a 3D headset.
