Review on ๐Ÿ›ด Black Large Adjustable Electric Scooter Seat Saddle for Segway Ninebot MAX G30P and G30LP - Comfortable, Shock Absorbing MAX Seat Saddle by Jared Stauder

Good idea but missing

Looks very nice and comes in a very nice protective box. It matches the colors and textures of my Ninebot MAX. That puts me in a snug fit (5ft 9in). But I was very disappointed with how the seat bracket was attached to the bottom of the scooter. I would have thought there would be an integrated system rather than this "backdated" design. The seat itself is made of very soft foam, which compresses significantly even for a 130-pound person, reducing any cushioning properties. With a 180-pound person sitting on it, it doesn't take up much at all. The shock post is complete nonsense! It flattens out completely even on a 130-pound person and as such has no cushioning ability. Remember this scooter is rated at 220 pounds. I would also have thought of an additional seat. In addition, a grinding noise can be felt and heard when the racket is squeezed. Like gravel in the seat post damper. In other words, the seatpost kick is for looks and marketing value only. For $119, you get just the saddle, seatpost, and bracket. Whole bikes can be bought for that price. That's not a very good price. I was very disappointed that the extra seat that Segway sells for this really good scooter (I have a Ninebot MAX) was such a flop. If you only weigh 100 pounds, chances are you'll be lucky. Maybe mine is just defective.? But I have nothing to compare.

Pros
  • Seats and saddles
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is ok
