Exactly what ad says it is - Silver, fits perfect, and looks great! I LOVE it! The same one I had before that I removed, came off with no residue, but you have to make sure that the sticky layer under the silver layer doesn't separate from the silver layer, which it almost did for me. No big deal. I rubbed off the tiny piece that separated and then only pulled the rest off after making sure the sticky layer wasn't separated from under the silver piece. If it separates, you would have residue and a lot of it! Also, make sure you put the right piece on the trackpad. There are 2 rectangle pieces and they are NOT the same size. One is "slightly" bigger than the trackpad. I guess the slightly larger one is an extra one that was cut separate from the other two pieces. The larger piece will slightly overlap. Also, not a big deal. It's nice to have an extra one!
