Bought this to store a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle for the same price as me (maybe 3 pieces every few months!). 2 additional sorting boards are a must! Definitely buy the 1500 piece size to put together 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles, you will appreciate the extra space. The fabric is grippy enough to keep individual pieces and even a partially assembled puzzle from slipping if handled very carefully and stored upright. Be careful when removing the sorting boards when stacked: some pieces may stick to the underside of the top board, but not enough to really ruin anything. Surprisingly hard mode.
