Review on Tablet ASUS Nexus 7 (2013) by Danuta Kowalczyk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

We purchased this tablet in order to utilize it as a GPS when visiting another country. In this regard, it was crucial that he effectively captured the GPS signal and could "hold the charge for a long period." Another prerequisite was the ability to put in a 3G SIM card because Google Maps cannot function without the Internet. The tablet, in short, met all of our expectations. 1. There are a ton of and quick GPS satellites. He never lost a signal, even when there were clouds in the sky (unlike other android devices that we had). 2. The charge lasts for a surprisingly long time (again, compared to other android devices that were before). A 7" screen that is continually on and with GPS and 3G is good for 5 to 6 hours. I did, however, anticipate more from the reviews. Although I had a USB vehicle charger with me, the tablet did not run out of power while we were traveling, but it also did not charge. 3. The Vodafone Italy SIM card actually activated and delivered 3G at a respectable speed. There are two things, though. First of all, opening the SIM card slot was challenging, even with the included key. Moreover, the tablet behaves like a phone when connected to cellular networks and is unable to receive SMS messages. As a result, I had to first locate a micro-sim -> sim adapter, activate the card using a conventional phone, and only then did it begin to function in the tablet. 4. Other benefits included an excellently clear screen (small print on the map was clearly visible and did not blur), as well as the chance for the kid to play current games while waiting for the bus, plane, or train.

Pros
  • The ability to upgrade to the most recent versions of Android, extremely clear picture, good GPS reception, long battery life, and the capacity to insert a SIM card as required
Cons
  • - The battery does not last as long as the reviews might lead you to believe - When a SIM card is inserted, the device behaves like a phone and is unable to send or receive SMS. This could make it difficult to activate the device. - There is no way to insert an SD card (although the built-in 32GB is enough for me so far) - Expensive
