Great deal on Columbia Winter Suit

I agree with other reviewers that the jacket and suit are thinner overall. As for us, I really like it because it allows us to wear and remove layers. Since we're in California and you can never tell if it's going to be cold or warm, this is a must. I'm only deducting a star because it would have been great if an inner jacket had been included. The jacket wasn't "too thin" for us as some describe it, but it wasn't "puffy" at all. On very cold days we use a thinner jacket. We will continue to use it on temperate to warm days as the bib provides extra warmth on top of that. When I put it on my son for the first time The velcro on my bib was too tight making my legs look too short. Just remember that you can let it out so that the legs are the right length. And of course, as I mentioned before, it's the Velcro for the shoulders that I like better than the plastic buckle as it doesn't rub or hurt my son. Since he's actually between 3T and 4T and we've gotten him up to 3T in this suit I don't expect we'll be able to use him next season but thanks to the Grow With Me system if he has a growth spurt in between Spring , which is actually very likely, this suit will be fine and he won't have to deal with the extra bulk of the larger suit until he's ready for it and we get it out ourselves. Even though, to be honest, as much as I love the idea of Grow Up With Me, if your kids don't grow up soon, you're most likely going to have to buy a new suit every year. They just grow like weeds and you're either dealing with something uncomfortably small or too big if you don't get them the right size suit. As for the price, we paid about $56 after Amazon's Christmas discount promotion.
