The legs are very long and the velcro on the ankle is not tight enough. That's why he keeps slipping out of her shoes and she steps on him. Velcro also just gave up when it got dirty and wet. Stayed drier than in her raincoat, so points for that, but a bit disappointed with the ankle velcro and length.

Not protected from water. My child stood up and splashed in puddles the entire time we were outside. The rain was light to moderate, not heavy at all. This works great for my 2 year old who stays on his feet most of the time. Some water will seep around the ankle and wrist, although an ankle problem can be solved by wearing wellies. There is velcro to tighten the cuffs, just not very effectively. Generally well suited for upright children. My recent 1 year old is still mostly crawling and the suit isn't helping her stay dry. I wanted to love this but it just lacks features. This product is waterproof to liquids that come in contact with the fabric, but it doesn't have velcro to pull down the wrists and ankles, allowing water to easily get onto the sleeves and pants. In the photo with two children's panties, the girl on the left is wearing the Oaki version, which I think is superior to all brands, but at a high price. The product came with a strange position of the left calf cuff: it seems to be sewn on incorrectly - in the picture in the product description the yellow part is in the front, but I mainly have it on the side and back (the elastic is in the front instead). In addition, the Velcro part gets caught in the seam between the cuff and the leg and cannot be used properly. A simple visual inspection at the factory would eliminate this element from the flow.

This suit is really cute - appears to be well made, is a good weight (not too light, not too heavy) and fits well. BUT it is not waterproof for prolonged outdoor play. We played it outside in the pouring rain for hours and when it came off the clothes underneath were soaked. It was definitely waterproof, but not 100% waterproof.

Bought for an outdoor nursery. This is great for light rain and will keep you dry in humid conditions. It ended up raining for two hours in Washington. Wet almost the entire suit. My poor baby is cold. Even with 2 layers of fleece underneath, it turns out to be very large. Easy to apply in layers. Annoying when trying to put on her boots/shoes. The fabric held up well. Overall a pretty decent buy. But I'll look for something that will hold up better in the rain.

Not waterproof! Playing in the rain all her clothes underneath were wet! The suit's main function does not work, but the return window closes. Please contact the manufacturer for a return! We have worn this suit a number of times to play in streams, splash in puddles etc and it has failed on a number of occasions. So disappointed!

He is 28 inches long, 7 months old and we go for a walk every day, have to walk the dog, rain or shine and it rains 50% of the time. he is still in the front carrier. It covers his arms and legs, his hood is big, just a tad big. But it works great and will grow into it. I like the 2 zippers that are easy to put on from the bottom and can be easily put on and taken off by kido.

Seems to be really good, camping trip so can edit if the rain doesn't work but it ran a little, she fits 2 tons in the crankcase and she swam in it but didn't have time to get smaller so I'm going roll up

I bought two of these "updated" blue suits for my daughters. They were playing outside this morning after it rained last night. It didn't rain today, just small puddles. The girls were playing, and then they came up to me and said they were all wet. At first I didn't believe them and then I opened them and they both got wet. These will be returned. I'm so pissed.

Great reading costume for a very active one year old. The cuffs on the sleeves and ankles hold everything well. I wish it had adjustable bungee straps at the waist like oak clothes, but for the price, you can't beat this one.

With this raincoat and rubber boots. Our little one can have it. Don't worry if it's wet or dirty. Goes well in a suit. And it washes well in the washing machine. hang dry

Bought size 12m for my 12m and it's big which I like as it has adjustable velcro cuffs that now make it fit. It's easy to slip on over clothes as it has 2 front zips and is waterproof so I can put it on my child and go to a wet muddy playground and come out dry and clean. It's lightweight yet durable. I'm about to order another one for my 3 year old.

My toddler goes to an outdoor kindergarten where he plays in the rain or sun. He loves his raincoat and knows it keeps it dry so he can continue playing in comfort. Highly recommended!

I love these raincoats! They are lightweight and fold up compactly, making them easy to store in the car when the weather is bad!

I was so excited because my kids play outside a lot and splashing in puddles is one of my favorite things to do. I thought it would make cleaning easier but my little one got wet in the suit. His rubber boots were full of water and all his clothes were wet. You'd think he's swimming in this suit and not just playing in the puddles. Two stars because at least it stayed warm despite the humidity.

Suitable for larger size. This is our second purchase - this time in a larger size so our oldest daughter can play outside in the rain with her sister who can wear our original costume. Pairs well with rubber boots for colorful play. .

We love being outside every day no matter the weather, that's why we bought these raincoats for our little ones. We played in the pouring rain for a maximum of 30 minutes, splashing and digging in muddy puddles and the kids got soaked. They might be perfect for running in light rain, but they didn't work for us. The fit was great as advertised which would be great to wear over winter clothing. I love the strap at the bottom to keep the legs down.

The zipper didn't last eight months with constant use in the kindergarten, mostly outdoors. If you need it for such purposes in PNW, invest elsewhere. So far, the Oaki brand has been the only one that hasn't broken in this way (unfortunately for cost or design reasons).
