Insulated Spruce Jacket for Boys by Arctix Review

I do rely a little on the kids' feedback, but the boy (9) likes his new jacket. He came home from school on a snowy day and the pace was teenagers. It was comfortable, warm and stayed dry. The fit is fine for him, but they can be *a little* small. Overall it was good. Thumbholes help keep sleeves in place which is great for all ages but especially kids. I hope it holds up well. I think we will order another one for our older son.

This is a great winter jacket. I ordered a medium size for my 8 year old and it fits him with plenty of room. It is very well made - the zipper and buttons work fine. It's a little lighter than I expected, but I still think it will keep him warm. He doesn't like big thick coats so this is perfect. Since it has additional space, it can always overlap. He loves colors! Great coat!

It's warm and appears to be well made. It looks more like a department store coat than a branded coat. He loses points from us for style more than anything else. My boy says the blue part looks girly. My girls say it looks too much like a boy coat. Maybe this model is more suitable for younger kids, but I don't think older boys will like it.

That's a great jacket. It's not overly bulky, but I'm sure it will be warm enough for the upcoming Pennsylvania winter. If necessary, the grandson can wear a lighter sweatshirt underneath. Qualitatively processed, there are no defects anywhere, sits normally. It's wind and waterproof, so let's see when winter comes! I'll update if this proves otherwise. The good thing is that it is machine washable!

The children's jacket is a beautiful, high-quality product with useful features. My 6 year old son was trying not to wear a jacket for the upcoming winter but we told him we would let him choose a new jacket and see if it would help in our daily struggle. When the jacket arrived he put it on and said "I LOVE IT!". Phew thanks for having a nice warm jacket that will keep him warm all winter without being TOO bulky which has been a problem with other jackets. It's warm enough for a mild winter (we live near Washington DC).

Great jacket at a great price. Because kids outgrow their clothes so quickly, I like to buy cheaper jackets that they only wear for 1-2 seasons. Overall it fits well, looks good and will keep kids warm in cold weather. Materials are a bit cheaper but comparable to other jackets you can buy at Target/Walmart. The top layer already has a few small scratches from wearing the jacket a few times, but that's not a problem and I reckon this jacket will last at least 1, maybe 2 seasons. I would buy it…

This is a lovely jacket - the medium size is perfect for my not very tall 12 year old son. I love the colors and patterns and the jacket seems to be well made. It's lighter without a lot of bulk, so we might need something warmer for Michigan's coldest winter days, but it's a good weight for late fall/early winter and would be great for spring!

My 9 year old son loves this jacket. It's light but very warm. I bought the XL, it's a bit big but it fits oversized sweaters.

This beautiful winter coat has good insulation without being overly heavy/bulky. Has two lower zip pockets. . . One upper left zip pocket. . . and a mesh pocket inside. There is also a small zipped pocket on the left sleeve. Has a hood but no drawstring. There is an elastic band around the hood. I am size medium. I love this coat. Beautiful rich colors. It's not very thick, perfect for layering. Well done. Nothing for very cold winters.

It fits my 7 year old perfectly and looks amazing! I love a jacket with a touch of class and this one is a treat. It has good pockets and zippers that don't stick. The most important thing is that my kid loves it too! He's a bit of a style guy, so I'm glad he likes it. He also says it's warm. Haven't tried cleaning it yet but I can say it's a quality material. I like the jacket, but the color isn't neon green, it's a strange muted green. My son still loves it so keep it up. But we had to return the neon green ski suits that we ordered to match because they weren't even remotely the same color.

Received this while expecting a thicker coat for cold temperatures. The description says it's good for temperatures down to -20F, but it's so thin. Better fall jacket

Great jacket for the price. The only complaint is that the thumb part of the hand is too tight and very comfortable for my 4 year old son. I had to cut it off and leave it open.

Grandson loves the jacket but the zipper keeps getting stuck. He doesn't want me to send it back because he likes it red. Just want to let others know that this is a thinner material and we have problems with zippers on a daily basis.
