This is great for our family. We have it hanging over one of the van seats and it can be transferred from the back or the front, just place it however you like. Easy to remove, just lift up. We clean it every time we fill up and throw out the garbage or when we get home so there's nothing left in the car that could cause a bad smell, like diapers! We accidentally tested the water resistance on a trip from Kansas to Florida - yes it works great! Nothing came out. Would recommend to anyone looking for a trash can for their car. Because it hangs over the headrest, it won't accidentally tip over like the ones you see designed to fit next to or between the seats.
