Review on TUSHY Brush: Lemon & Tea Tree Oil-Infused Coconut Husk Scrubbing Pads - The Eco-Friendly Toilet Brush Kit with Brush and Holder by Ashley Rogers

Looks good but no more than that

Wanted a replacement for the chlorox stick that worked well but its plasticity was disturbing. I originally had a TUSHY bidet (before replacing it with an electric toto) and their products were pretty good for what they were. So I had the same expectation here. Everything seemed fine at first - similar to the other review here that the metal pins that "snap/snap" onto the coconut shell brush pad end up going through the pad (because the pad is thin) and at the end leave scratches. I don't worry too much about scratches, but since I'm someone who cringes when nails scratch a board, that's the case here. Then there was rust and a "buildup" of rust/dirty water on the rod holder mount. After a few months of use I noticed that the end of the wand was starting to look quite awkward. The tip is orange/brown and everything has started to rust. I think that tells me it's made out of cheap materials. So the original reason to buy it is essentially gone. Aside from looking good, they just didn't work or clean well as the pads were just cheap Brillo pads. Definitely not recommend.
