UPDATE - I was contacted by the manufacturer and asked if they could send a new block. They did it and it works fine in my setup, no more crashes when viewing videos We really appreciate your excellent support for your product --------------------------------- -------- ------- ----------------------------------- -------- --- ----------------------------- --------- Delivery and installation of the product was fine. I connected a TiVo to my TV (Samsung 52" widescreen 1080p) through a cabinet/wall with a 15" HDMI cable (good quality). When I turn on the TV , I often get a message that there is no signal, or the picture cuts out and keeps coming back. Eventually turning the TV on/off helps, but then it repeats the next time I turn it on en of the television. The problem reoccurs, but occurs sporadically. I'm pretty sure the problem is a weak signal or noise on the HDMI cable. The box MAY help some as I see a lower incidence rate but it's still fairly common so it wasn't a cure.
