I'm glad I trusted the reviews because I'm more than happy with this collar. The hardware isn't cheap plastic, it's heavy metal, and the inside of the collar is even thinly lined. The materials from which this collar is made are of unmistakably high quality. I ordered a large size for my 1 1/2 year old Cane Corso with a 24" neck width and it fits him great with room to grow. Update: This collar has been worn for a few months now and recently got grass stains. stains and dirt. I washed it in the washing machine and it was like new - no burrs, no scuffs on the stitching. Love it.
