Review on 🔧 Enhanced Metra 95-7863 Honda Element Double DIN Kit for 2003 and beyond by Zachary Benjamin

I wasn't blown away by this dashboard kit. very thin sides and the device sits too far back. If you have a device with side buttons, pressing the buttons will be problematic. I tried changing it so that the unit was closer to the front and about 1/4 inch closer, but that made the frame even more fragile. A universal set is available that gives the best results. I'm not sure what the part number is but there are some videos online using this universal kit due to this issue. My kit broke on the driver's side when I removed it to adjust the wiring. I had to glue. Hopefully I don't have to take it out again, I have a Pioneer AVH-2550NEX. It has buttons on the sides and is difficult to reach because the edge of the hole is removed. I give three stars for the price. I'm sure some devices will work better with this kit. This kit was used in the Honda Element 08.
