Not only am I a smart/artistic person, I have also worked as a dental assistant. for some years. So I knew I had to be sure I could floss between any 'teeth' I added. and around the tooth. You must be able to remove it from time to time. *Since you're making the tooth while it's still warm but cool enough for it to hold its shape a bit, place it where you want it. Grasp the cheek and opposite side with the fingers of each hand. Gently begin shaping the warm "gum" in place. If you feel that a lot of excess "gum" is draining onto other natural teeth, pull out everything from that area and remove the amount that seems superfluous. Then briefly heat a piece of gum in hot water and start again. Once you have the right amount and it's formed on each side, gently bite your teeth. The excess left over from biting builds up around the gum line. bite it, grab a piece of dental floss and make sure you can brush your teeth next to it. The next day. It's hard to work with a lot if you don't have a hollowed tooth to hold on to. * Work with the mirror all the time. I used a magnifying mirror. check your work Once you feel the bite is properly seated and staying in place, drink a glass of ice water. If your teeth are not sensitive to cold, drink some water around the tooth area. Hold a little, swallow. Repeat this until you feel it holds its shape and is no longer translucent or soft. You should not drink more than 6-8 oz. DO NOT SWALLOW the tooth. Do not gargle or gargle with water. If you don't want to swallow the water, just spit it into another cup or sink. *DO NOT WORK with a new false tooth in your mouth until you are certain it is SECURE. You can choke on it while you sleep. You can choke on it while eating. * On my artificial tooth that replaced the extracted tooth, I made "wings" on each side that wrapped around the gum line on each side. As it cooled quickly, I confirmed this by squeezing my tongue and placing my hand on the outside of my cheek. that the "wings" held securely to my gums as I let the cold water set them in place. The first time I made it, it came out the next day. Then I added more material to the "wings" and they stayed with the pizza eating too. * Do not use this as a permanent tooth. You get an infection. I only use this because I have 2 teeth that are rotting due to dry mouth and no dentist will see me during Covid unless I am in severe pain or an infection. Since I had already corrected these two teeth, I also added the missing teeth that they wanted to put in. only now. :)
