Throw the trash can in the heat

We leave our trash cans in the garage because of the marauding bears. (Haven't seen them this year!) Found a bit gross, although due to the heat I'm washing the glasses as needed this year. Attach the "tree" to the lid of the jar with strong tape. It covers the smell quite well. At least better than without. I bought the first ones at the Wal store to try. Took maybe a month and a half. It would be great to have a release in time. Otherwise, in a closed car or a garbage can, the first week or two would be very difficult!
