Although expensive, this pneumatic brush is still worth the investment. We bought a cheaper replacement for our original Broan/NuTone central vacuum (which broke after 20 years of use) which was almost useless. This brush works great. The brushes spin quickly and suck much better than the cheaper replacements we tried and even better than the original brush that came with the system. It's durable, made out of metal rather than plastic, and feels very durable. This is definitely the case when you get what you pay for! If it lasts 20 years it will be worth the cost.
