I bought two of these for my daughters aged 2.5 and almost 1 so they can have 'their' chairs on the patio and I don't have to worry that they fall from a standard chair as we enjoyed the backyard. Both girls LOVE these chairs. My 2.5 year old daughter carried it around with gusto most of the week (e.g. she climbed in and then stood up with her hands, her bum still touching the seat like the chair was a newly grown cock). and a month after we bought it, she still sits in it often. My almost 1 year old was a bit unsure at first but can now climb in and out of a chair on his own (under supervision; see next comment); this is the perfect size for her (she is average height/weight). The chair is lower than I expected, maybe 8 inches, so my oldest daughter will probably outgrow her chair in just a year, which is a little disappointing, but I'm not worried about my youngest daughter knocking it over. The only downside to this chair is that it is very light; Any child small enough to first climb into the seat and then turn to sit properly needs a chair that is stabilized by an attentive older adult/child to prevent the chair from tipping backwards or sideways when the child sits alone. The same applies to a small child being pulled far beyond the hand (e.g. to pick up a toy from the floor). For this very reasonable price (about ten lollipops) I can't complain.
