Review on ๐ŸŒฟ Organic Badger Cuticle Care: Shea Butter Balm for Soothing, Nourishing, and Protecting Cuticles and Nails - 0.75 oz. by Daniela Velasquez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

UPDATE: I liked it.

Of the three Badger balms I have purchased, I did not like this one. I found it very oily and it didn't sink into my hands/cuticles half as much as Badger Hard Working Hands Balm, which is pretty cool. The smell of cuticle balm isn't necessarily bad - it has a citrus-lemon sort of smell, pleasant but definitely a bit strong. I just wish it was as good as a hand balm, which while having a slight taste of wintergreen, is very mild. Overall I would say this balm just isn't what I was looking for for my cuticles. UPDATE: Well it has been almost a month since my first review of this cuticle balm and I had to post an updated opinion. While the oily nature of this balm is still there, I have found that if I just wait a bit it will absorb into my skin. I actually used this balm on my toes and it made my feet look amazing so I started using it on my hands again but only at night so it doesn't get on everything. This is really a great balm for when I get my nails done every week - it softens nails and cuticles and really locks in moisture. I also bite my cuticles so I've used it more often since I've had it and I've noticed the skin on my nails is much smoother and healthier. It might be a little oilier than I originally wanted, but I think that was because I was comparing it to a hand balm. While this is also an amazing balm, I think there should be something more in a cuticle care balm. there to soften cuticles so I would say I don't mind it being a bit oilier than other balms as I use it more often at night. So I would definitely upgrade my original rating from 2 to 4 stars. Sometimes you just have to wait and see how things develop. This time I was lucky enough to love the product.
