So my 2 year old acer r15 died a week ago due to a hardware problem. I just started an online course and I'm low on money so I decided to buy it. At the time of writing it's still $205, so not a bad price for a nearly 16-inch touchscreen laptop. It covers the essentials and I can easily switch between tabs. The only issue I had was that after about 2 hours of use I clicked on the prompt to download some other Google apps from my phone to my Chromebook and it crashed. It's been about 8 hours since I plugged in the device and it happened again. The screen glitches, turns purple and twitches, then VERY slowly goes black. I closed the lid and popped it open and everything was fine but still a bit worried when I just received it. I know it's a refurbished device, but seriously? If it causes further problems, I can return it. Other than that, great payout! Defective units are being shipped out all the time, maybe I'm just unlucky, so I still recommend this for a quick fix. There's a 90-day guarantee, so take advantage of it if you can.
