I needed a case for SD and XQD cards, it's amazing! The slots are pre-cut and notched for easy card removal but will not fall out. I tested the case when it was open and the cards stayed in place (I didn't test the water resistance but that doesn't bother me as it seems to close and close). If you are looking for a small case that can handle both SD and XQD, I would highly recommend this case.
