Very disappointing. I bought them for our annual Easter egg hunt and they looked gross about 10 minutes after the kids took them out of their plastic wrappers. This isn't the "soft" material I was expecting. Instead, they are a very sticky material that causes them to attract ALL hair, lint, and lint that they come in contact with. as pictured they are soft like a marshmallow or a block of jelly. They can be compressed, but I wouldn't stretch them too much. I think it will break. They pull dirt off your hands pretty quickly, but they can be washed. Each one seems to have a dimple at the bottom so you can kinda suck it up on the shelf. In general, the mochi set is not bad. I think they are a good deal given the quantity/price/quality in general. We have a pretty good selection, very close to the picture, but unfortunately no octopus (my favourite!), or a sleeping cat or a dolphin. They were individually wrapped.
