Review on Netvisor OS by Joe Fulce

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy and intuitive management tool that will keep admins happy

I like having all of my network devices managed from one place instead of several different ones including Cisco Nexus switches as well as Juniper JUNOs/JXs etc. It's not free but it does come with some pretty good features for what you get in return such as VSS support which makes managing backups much easier than manually backing up each device individually. The UI can be confusing at first if you are new or haven't used this product before so make sure your familiar enough with your way around it beforehand. We use it mainly for our storage area networks since we have many SAN systems running off them. There aren't any downsides really aside form being expensive compared to competitors products however they do offer more services than others out there. Having everything centralized allows us to run multiple vSphere clusters across various locations without worrying about patch.
