Smooth experience and well supported operating system

The way that it handles multiple DE's (desktop environments) such as Gnome Shell or KDE Plasma was very convenient for me because I am used to using Unity in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS - so this transition has been pretty smooth! It also comes with many preinstalled packages including LibreOffice/Open Office etc., making installation of my applications fairly simple. There are some bugs here but they can be fixed by updating software sources after installing via terminal. For example, if you have…

Pros
  • Very customizable
  • Able To Run Many Desktop Environments
  • Multiple Software Repositories Makes Application Installation Easy :)
Cons
  • Some Bugs When Update Manager Is Not Connected With Network

Best Desktop Environment I have ever used!!

The best part of this OS has been its ability for me as an individual user (and not administrator) have total control over my computer without any restrictions from others or third party software providers that want access/control in order make changes I don't agree with! It's also very simple & straight forward once you get used it but if your new then expect some learning curve time before getting everything figured out like how things work etc.. There are many different versions available so

Pros
  • Control
  • Total freedom to install, setup programs HOWEVER we choose
  • Simple easy interface
  • Best support forum community ever!!! You will find help when needed here.
  • Easy updates via Software Center OR terminal command line
Cons
  • There are nuances

User friendly GUI which makes customizing simple

I like that it's lightweight and its user interface looks pretty sleek compared with other linux distros out there. It has an awesome set of software tools for beginners. For most people, this will be their first experience using Linux and they may have some trouble understanding what all these different icons mean. Also, you don't get too many options when setting up your desktop environment; sometimes it gets confusing trying to figure out how to customize everything to my liking. So far so…

Pros
  • Easy installs..etc etc.and very customizable!! A lot easier to navigate/use rather than Microsoft Windows 10
Cons
  • Minor Issues
