The way that it handles multiple DE's (desktop environments) such as Gnome Shell or KDE Plasma was very convenient for me because I am used to using Unity in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS - so this transition has been pretty smooth! It also comes with many preinstalled packages including LibreOffice/Open Office etc., making installation of my applications fairly simple. There are some bugs here but they can be fixed by updating software sources after installing via terminal. For example, if you have downloaded updates from repositories while not connected to internet then your update manager might show an error stating "failed" when trying to install them. Just reconnect to Internet before attempting again. This OS does all what one needs without needing additional programs like Adobe Photoshop CS6-7 etc.. Also its user friendly interface makes it really enjoyable to work with even at home.
