I like that it's lightweight and its user interface looks pretty sleek compared with other linux distros out there. It has an awesome set of software tools for beginners. For most people, this will be their first experience using Linux and they may have some trouble understanding what all these different icons mean. Also, you don't get too many options when setting up your desktop environment; sometimes it gets confusing trying to figure out how to customize everything to my liking. So far so good! There are no real issues at this point but nothing really stands out either. The only thing I dislike about Linux mint is that if I do run into any problems or need help figuring something out, then usually I'm not able to find anyone online who knows exactly how to fix it or answer questions in an efficient manner. If you want reliability then go ahead and try Linux Mint because it works great across almost every computer platform.
