I was afraid of that as I've had a different screen protector in the past. I think it was the silicone material that made the touchscreen less responsive to touch. They are very durable, snap easily into place and are responsive to the touchscreen. There were cases where the screen didn't feel a touch and I didn't understand why this happened. However, removing and cleaning usually helps. The only complaint I have is how the gold looks. I thought it was a thinner rose gold band (rose gold). but it is very GOLD and quite a shiny pink). The gold works, but the pink is really pink. I have a hard time pairing pink with rose gold or stripes.
