I bought this tool thinking I was going to get "Premium Aluminum" which is very light and strong like aircraft grade aluminum. This is die cast alloy metal scrap. False advertising. And it doesn't lie flat because the metal brackets protrude below (see photo). You can spot injection molding defects due to the protrusion on the sides of the groove that was not removed before painting. I also thought it had a decent manual to show how to use it to get accurate measurements. Came with a piece of paper with practically nothing on it other than what is advertised for Revain. Agree with another review that says you can't tighten the screws enough to keep the measurement. Is it possible to move and draw carefully without moving your hands from their measured place? Garbage.
